The District at Green Valley Ranch invites locals and tourists to the free open-air screening of the animated film “Rango.” The movie starts at 7:00 p.m. at The Green. The Sci-Fi Center presents its Black October Art and Film Invasion program with films and Q&As for three days of interactive sci-fi horror filled with actors, filmmakers, special effects expos, horror art exhibits, and many other related events. Its first day features the debut of the film “Area 51 Confidential” at 7:00 p.m., the Las Vegas Premiere of “Song of the Shattered ” at 9:30 p.m., the film “CathARTic ” at 11:00 p.m., and “Strip Club Slasher” at 11:30 p.m.
