Las Vegas film events from Aug. 26 to Sept. 1, 2011 include film festival screenings, family movies, and independent features.
These events are mostly hosted by local hotels, libraries, commercial spaces, and art-house venues. A number of the movies are free for all, along with a few requiring ticket purchase.

The Tropicana Las Vegas hosts the second day of the Vegas Cine Fest with the screening of “More to Live For” from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tickets cost $12. The festival also holds a Friday Night Network After Party at the Nikki Beach Club of the Tropicana. The event is scheduled from 9:00 pm. to 11:59 p.m. Tickets cost $35 to $50. “Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience” screens at The District at Green Valley Ranch for its “The Outdoor Picture Show” program, which runs from May to October 2011. This concert movie is open to the public; the screening starts at 7:30 p.m. at The Green. This venue is just adjacent to the Whole Foods Market and The Carousel. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, picnic baskets, and refreshments. Complimentary popcorn is also available every movie night.
