She is a director, producer, and writer working in both independent films and commercial productions.

She also works as a film educator, film/media consultant and resource speaker for arts, culture, and media projects. 


Advertising Director: commercials and audio-visual presentations; advocacy, recruitment, event, instructional, and multimedia videos.

Independent Filmmaker: independent films competing and exhibiting in local and international film festivals and competitions.

Writer: published film reviews for local and international films in broadsheets and professional sites and blogs; independent and commercial writing works for art, culture, travel, and lifestyle platforms.

Educator/Film Consultant/Resource Speaker: college professor; film and media consultancy works for government and private projects; resource speaker for fora, conferences, seminars, and workshops.


She is a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Audio-visual Communication graduate of the University of the Philippines Film Institute (UPFI)with her thesis film “Karsel” receiving the Kodak Film Award for Best Film Thesis. She is currently a graduate student at the University of the Philippines College of Mass Communication taking up Master of Arts in Media Studies major in Film.

She also took Korean Language and Culture credits at Korea University under its International Studies Department through a scholarship from the Korean Film Council (KOFIC)certificate courses in New Enterprise Planning and Simplified Accounting for Entrepreneurs and Professionals (both graduated with distinction) at the University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU), and extension course in Voice at the University of the Philippines College of Music.

She was chosen for the Asian Film Professionals Training Program under KOFIC in Seoul, South Korea, as well as the Young Professionals Program (YoPro) of the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Show in the United States. She was selected as one of the official delegates for the elite young Asian filmmakers’ training program Asian Film Academy (AFA) of the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) in Busan, South Korea.
